We believe that campaigners free from some of the structural delays and institutional boundaries are able to inform us of issues well before they come up the agenda formally
Therefore a particular feature of the Institute is to encourage campaigners at all our events and to introduce them to government and academia and business at the highest level where they might not always find a hearing normally, we often provide a space at our conferences for campaigners to have a long workshop with government officials and the officials are able to hear from the grass roots in a safe unreported and unofficial space to hear what is happening on the ground which they find extremely useful

We also have two formers heads of friends of the earth and the current head as advisors and many Chairs of well known Campaigning organisations active in our activities and guiding us in the most important areas to focus.
