The Green Economics Institute runs very sucessful courses at all levels and to suit all requirements on any subject related to green issues or environment or economics. We have a team of over 2000 people to call on and hundreds of Professors and politicians. We specialise in cutting edge, inclusive, gender balanced and innovative economics and sustainable development and business.
The Institute this year is working with the UK Cabinet Office providing training to them and also the European Greens Summer School spanning both East and Western Europe in Poland and Germany, and also with local councils to provide in house training courses. We are also providing lecturing at Oxford University, Bath University, and have designed and are running a course at Birkbeck College London University at Masters Level.
Our two very sucessful Green Economics Institute initial training courses with the Support of the Higher Education Academy Economics Network, were very well received indeed and As a result of this, we have been short listed for the Prestigeous Green Gown Awards for teaching green subjects!
We offer in house company training courses with our team of company Directors of companies with household names and have on our team some of the worlds best known management gurus and are currently writing for Gower Management Books and training people in the UK Cabinet Office, the Justice Office and from the European Parliament.
We can deliver courses in most European languages too as our teams are always from relevant different nationalities to provide best practise examples.
We will also be running another introductory course for Green Economics, which will be later in 2008 in Poland to inaugurate our new Poland Branch of the Green Economics Institute.
We are also running training in Frankfurht Am Oder on the Polish German Border in August 2008. We are planning to run at least one training course in the Uk at the Schumacher College and also in Oxford at our new Green Economics Centre and are working with the Policy Studies Institute to develop another Masters Course and PHD supervision.
We are also offering courses on sustainable procurement and supply chains with the various professional bodies. Please email for details
