Acreditation to full membership of the Institute

This formal qualification is obtained by going through the acreditation process and obtaining the status MGEI a qualification recognised and awarded by the Green Economics Institute and recommended as an important part of the status of an Institute.

This qualification can be used for formal career purposes and when applying for new jobs for example.

The Institute's approval for doing this has been obtained as a recommendation by government.

The Acreditation process is underwritten by our top advisors and takes time and will involve a variety of steps including training, application via a form, award of acreditation points for your previous experience and involves a short essay on various aspects of issues relevant to green economics. In the interests of inclusion and equity, accreditation takes various forms and is a thorough scutiny and we provide help and training to help applicants through. However the award is a thorough award and applicants need to be aware that it will take time to complete the process.

In the first instance please fill in an acreditation form and send it to geibooksandjournal@yahoo.co.uk. We will then advise what needs to be done to complete the process.

The acreditation application form is being loaded onto the website under the left hand tab section- please visit that section over the next few days when it will be posted.
